We started welcoming our first residents near the end of May to Van Hull Place. Already more than 20 families have already moved in to their luxurious homes. It was great to see everyone at the welcome BBQ on Saturday and we are looking forward to welcoming the rest of the owners to Van Hull shortly.

We want to thank everyone that was involved in making this project a success and for the support received from all of the residents!! Thanks to all of you, Van Hull Place will be a great place to live for years to come.

March 18th, 2015

We are very excited as we are approaching the first occupancy dates for the units near the end of May. The drywall is now completed in all the suites and finishing touches are being put on the hallways and stairwells. The high quality thermofoil kitchens have started to go in along with the quartz countertops. The flooring is starting next week with a goal to complete by end of April.

February 10th, 2015

The work is progressing steadily at Van Hull Place. The stucco and stone work is completed on the majority of the building and should be fully completed by middle of February. Half of the first and second floor is now dry walled, taped and painted and ready for flooring and cabinets. Drywall is finished on the third and fourth floor and will be painted by end of February. The elevator is on site and will start to get installed Feb 6th and be in place by March 31st. Kitchen cabinets will start arriving first week of March for installation. We are almost at the finish line.

We are very excited to announce that our show suite is now ready and open to the public. Please visit us there to see our superior finishes and to buy one of the few remaining units.

December 18th, 2014

The exterior of Van Hull Place is coming together and we had the first unveiling of some colours. The stucco is now half complete and the stone work is completed on the property. The interior work continues to move along with drywall now completed on one third of the building. The unit owners have now picked their customized finished and kitchens will start arriving in early February. Please watch out for our show suite to be ready by middle of January. November 4th, 2014

The roof is fully shingled, and the sliding patio doors and the triple glazed windows are now in. In this photo, you can see that that the stucco work has now commenced and the stucco work will continue throughout the winter to ensure completion in January. All the balconies at Van Hull are at least 15’ wide and decking has now been placed. The interior work is progressing well with the electrical inspection scheduled for this week. The drywall is being done in the washrooms and ceilings which will allow for the plumbers to start installing the showers and tubs.

September 26th, 2014

The entire building is now framed and the roofing has started and will be complete by end of next week. Triple glazed windows have started to be installed to make the building water tight. This will allow us to start insulation and dry walling in early October and move to the finishing stages of the building while the exterior stone and stucco façade is being completed. In October, we will be finishing the paving, curbs and starting the landscaping.

August 25th, 2014

The 3rd floor is now fully framed and the framers are busy on the 4th floor. As you can see, the balconies are being built now and are very spacious (more than 20’ wide) while preserving privacy. The electricians and plumbers are on their heels doing the rough-ins on the first two floors. The heated underground parkade floor is poured and the ramp going into the parkade is being worked on. Rough grading and paving had started and we are expecting the site to be paved by middle of September. Watch out for the roof to start the first week of September with shingles and stucco to commence shortly thereafter. Once we are water tight, we can start the interior drywall and finishing.

July 25th, 2014

July has been a busy month on the site. The 2nd floor is new fully framed and the framing crew is busy working on the 3rd floor. In the meanwhile, the plumbers have getting the project roughed in and follow behind the framers. The electricians are also busy starting the electrical service for the building. The windows have also arrived for the building and will start to be installed once the third floor is framed. We are aiming to be watertight by the end of August, so interior drywall can commence.

June 13th, 2014

The underground heated parkade structure is now complete and framing of the main floor has commenced. This photo shows one of our large 20 foot balconies. Site services including water, sewer and storm sewer are completed. Please watch out for us to reach the fourth floor in early August!!!

May 5th, 2014

The underground concrete parkade walls and columns are now complete. The steel beams that rest on the columns have been placed. This photo shows the main floor concrete hollowcore sitting on top of the steel and concrete walls. The framing of the first floor will commence by mid-May and we expect the building to reach the roof by end of July.

April 7, 2014

Piling is complete and the pile caps are fully poured. The site is humming with activity as the walls of the heated underground parking garage have started to be formed and poured as seen in the photo. About half the walls are complete now, with the rest to follow shortly. As the walls come up, two rows of columns shall be formed and poured near the middle of the garage.

March 12, 2014

Construction commenced in late January and the site has been excavated for the underground concrete heated parking garage. Sixteen meter long concrete piles that support the building have been driven in to the ground late February. The driven piles have been cut and concrete pile caps are being formed this week. It is expected that the pile caps will be completed next week and the walls of the parkade will start to be formed.
